STABILANT 22
Stabilant 22 is a patented, non-toxic contact conditioner. It enhances conductivity in low voltage electronic connectors. Utilizing synthesized block polymers Stabilant 22 decreases voltage rise time as alternating current signals cross the zero voltage point. It counteracts oxidization, pitting, and contamination on especially older electronic contacts.. Suitable for all low voltage AC connections like microphone contacts, card edge computer slots, low voltage ribbon cable audio connections, potentiometers, faders etc.
Stabilant 22 can be dissolved in alcohol, water and various other industrial solvents
and only needs to be applied in a 6-9 micron surface layer on contact points.
S22 does not evaporate, oxidize, or cross link with other elements and can reside in seated contacts for decades with no significant deterioration, hardening or dissipation.
Canadian made and owned by DW Electro Chemicals in Richmond Hill,
Stabilant 22 is the invention of Toronto born, MIT educated engineer
Mike Dayton-Wright. Dayton-Wright was also the inventor of Dayton-Wright electro-static speakers which were custom made in Toronto in the 1970's.
Dayton-Wright was a holder of multiple patents in both the chemical design and audio electronic fields. His inventor and manufacturer roots are in the innovative audio design scene in Toronto and the USA of the late 1960's and 70's.
